Youth Mental Health & Well-Being Ambassador
Two Day Course
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is a training program designed to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to provide initial assistance to someone experiencing a mental health crisis or struggling with mental health challenges. MHFA helps break down the stigma surrounding mental health issues by fostering open conversations and promoting understanding. Training will guide individuals to recognise the signs of mental health problems, creating a more supportive and inclusive community.
This course is ideal for anyone who lives with, works with, or supports young people aged 8 to 18 and wants to gain the knowledge, awareness, and skills to spot the signs of a young person experiencing poor mental health, the confidence to start a conversation, and the tools to safeguard and signpost to appropriate support.
